What specific programs do CSI offer?

We offer three programs:


Strategy Breakthrough Program

Promise: To have selected leaders intentionally implement their strategy and cause breakthrough results and be able to coach others in the fundamentals of implementation and culture change. This program will deliver 10x its costs. Historically it has delivered between an 11x and 1400x return.

How long is the program? Four, four-day work sessions using live issues as the focus, spread over 9-12 months, plus interim coaching and facilitation of key meetings. For 15-20 people at a time.

Our extensive work and research over the last 30 years has identified how to dramatically increase energy and focus it in a co-ordinated way to implement strategy.

Our research has identified a number of critical implementation factors that are always in play with both business issues and human issues. When these factors are sufficiently present, the likelihood of business success increases exponentially. When they are seriously lacking, business success is correspondingly far less likely.

  • Group Alignment - understanding and commitment to a common cause or viewpoint.
  • Resolving Conflict - courage and dedication to solving a problem, finding a solution, resolving a problem or question.
  • Responsibility for Results - unqualified buy-in, pledging oneself to goals, standing ready to be answerable, accountable.
  • Positive Relationships - unbiased, non manipulative, quality contact, communications, among people and groups.
  • Future Orientation - not hampered by history, l ooking at the time to come, at events that are still to occur.
  • Respect as a Core Value - the organization values self respect and respect for others; the state of being honoured, admired or well thought of.

In addition these factors are only useful when embedded by leaders in a rigorous process of implementation. This involves a number of key stages:

Invention

Ignition

  • Enrolling others as co-creators and creating organizational urgency

Change Agent Program - Facilitating cultural change and breakthrough results

Promise: To develop change agents who can facilitate breakthroughs in performance, and can train others in the fundamentals of implementation and culture change. This program delivers over 15x its costs as a minimum and 40x its costs as a minimum when accompanied by the Strategy Breakthrough Program. Historically it has delivered between a 20x and 3300x return.

How long is the program? Five, three-day education sessions working on live company issues spread over 8-12 months, apprentice-based program, plus interim coaching. For 15-25 people at a time.

In this program we qualify, train and certify individuals at levels of mastery as change agents. Certified persons will have been instrumental in helping others to produce extraordinary and necessary results.

This is focused on areas in which the company intends to change and develop.

Leader of the Future

A two day intensive personal development and planning session for one person with a program of typically 18 days of coaching over the next 12-15 months.

"The Executive Intensive" is a 20-day personal development program for executives facing major challenges or in personal transition starting with a 2 day in depth coaching session. This program is for one person and works on current challenges in work, life, and in relationships. Participants are asked to arrive with three goals for what they want, involving career, life choices, and areas where they want to pay more attention.

The program consists of written exercises and dialogue. Participants openly experience and express their aspirations, as well as their doubts, frustrations, and the concerns which come naturally to anyone functioning in high pressure, demanding executive positions. A new understanding emerges regarding the participants' history, goals, patterns and issues to be resolved.

Through this process of deep exploration and inquiry, people discover their individual "recipes for success," the choices they have made, and their natural and automatic ways of surviving and succeeding. They come to see those aspects of their personality and behavior that have limited or constrained their accomplishment. They become able to separate their essential nature from their mental dictates of the past, and to freely and authentically choose their future behaviour.

The lessons from this intellectually rigorous and emotionally demanding program are inevitably folded back into people's main concerns about their personal and business plans, allowing them to be much more powerful and effective. Participants conclude each coaching session with bold commitments and an action plan and continue to deliver unprecedented results well beyond the Executive Intensive.
